Description

Consumer favorite, Arizona-based quick service restaurant (“QSR”) chain with 25 corporate-owned and operated locations is seeking an experienced Accounting Clerk to join a growth-oriented team.

The company is looking for an accomplished Accounting Clerk with multi-unit experience (preferably in the restaurant industry).  Potential for advancement is probable based upon the Company’s expansion plans.

A competitive compensation package is offered that will include base salary, health benefits and a quarterly cash performance bonus.

REQUIRED EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE

  • 5 or more years of accounting experience.
  • Experience working in a multi-unit business; restaurant experience a plus.
  • Ability to work well in a team environment.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ability to timely and accurately process payable invoices.
  • Participate in the monthly close which includes making entries into the Company’s ERP system.
  • Work closely with department heads to ensure attainment of the Corporate Operating Plan.

ATTRIBUTES / QUALIFICATIONS

  • Quick thinker who can handle multiple priorities simultaneously.
  • Ability to communicate with all levels of the organization across all departments (written and verbal).
  • Proficient in MS Office and other business software, with ability to quickly adapt to new technologies; familiarity/expertise with Restaurant 365 a plus.
  • Great organizational skills, self-motivation and the desire to constantly improve
  • A stickler for following the Company’s policies and ensuring others comply with these policies.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds at times.
